Teams deploy a systems design approach using advanced manufacturing techniques which can involve the use of CAD, laser cutting, 3D printed parts, and soldering. Teams are rewarded for innovation, manufacturing quality, reliability and points scoring capability.
Created in 1998, Eurobot is an international amateur robotics contest open to teams of young people, organised either in student projects or in independent clubs. Eurobot takes place in Europe but also welcomes countries from other continents.
