This ascending structure was designed to fit between the underside of a projecting window cill and the pavement surface. The top rail of the structure fits precisely into a recessed drip detail on the underside of the window cill providing the overall stability for the structure. The triangulated form results in a stiff and efficient structure; bracing members are minimized and aluminium tube has been used throughout the structure to reduce its weight. A wedge inserted under the base point of the structure keeps the structure in position and allows for easy installation and adjustment.
